Mission Statement

Here at St. Godric’s, Religious Education is one of our core subjects. We follow ‘Come and See’ which is a Catholic Primary Religious Education Programme for Foundation and Key Stages 1 and 2 that is recommended by the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. The programme was developed to respond to the needs of children today in their faith journey, to enable them to grow in their religious literacy and understanding in a way that is coherent with educational principles. It integrates the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the Religious Education Curriculum Directory.
